We are seeking applications from North Carolinians eager to contribute in a variety of ways to the stewardship of the state’s estuarine and coastal habitats as Directors of the Friends of the Reserve!
FOR has openings for a small number of new directors. We are seeking applications from North Carolinians who will help diversify and complement the strengths of the existing board of directors.
Volunteers assist Reserve staff with management and stewardship of coastal habitats through research, education, and example. FOR supports the NC Coastal Reserve’s volunteer programs. However, FOR does not directly organize or manage volunteers working on the sites.
